Why Peace Oxygen Exists
When we first began working in the medical equipment space in Bangladesh, the problems were difficult to ignore.
Patients diagnosed with sleep apnoea would search for CPAP machines in Dhaka and face an overwhelming number of sellers, most of whom could not answer basic questions about the devices they were selling. What is the difference between auto CPAP and fixed pressure CPAP? Which mask type suits which sleeping position? What does the AHI reading mean? Most sellers had no answers. Their goal was to complete the transaction. The patient’s goal was to get better.
The same problem existed with oxygen concentrators. Families caring for relatives with COPD would ask about flow rate, oxygen purity, noise levels, and power consumption in Bangladesh’s electricity conditions.
